How often does every one calibrate theres?

I calibrate mine before every single use to make sure its 100% on, is this over kill or does any one else do the same thing to make sure its 10000000% accurate?

I check mine before each use. You should be using a calibration fluid that has the same refractive index of the sample you are testing, i.e. 35 ppt/ sg 1.026. Like this or similar.

I do, i check mine to make sure its 35ppt, (got the fluid with the meter), and im just over cautious about it. Ive made stupid mistakes in the past thinking "i know it all" so this time around im playing it safe.

If it's kept clean and isn't bumped, dropped, or otherwise mistreated it shouldn't go out of calibration. Checking the calibration after any abuse should always be done, but every few uses is good practice just to be sure even if it hasn't been banged around.
