I have a Vee Gee salinity refractometer and the Milwaukee digital MA887. These two read the same after just calibrating them both. I just got the Hanna Salinity tester after hearing good things about it on the Forums. My Vee Gee and Milwaukee both read my tank at 35ppt, the Hanna is reading 33ppt this seams to be a pretty good difference. I used three of the four calibration fluid packets it came with making sure it was reading right. At this point I'm not sure which one to believe.

Not sure where you read good things about the hanna but mine is garbage. I have read that if you use apex calibration fluid it will read better but I have yet to try it.
