Here's the bottle I bought. Do I just calibrate to 35 ppt? Or 1.3394? They are not the same.

Thanks. Can't believe how much mine was off!
Check then double check! Iv calibrated mine before then days or even hours later it was off. Not sure if it's due to temp or bumping the refract Im in the habit of checking more than once.Cal solution is cheep enough.

Bumping can effect calibration. Otherwise the only refractometer I've owned which is many that just would not hold it's calibration with out any known outside force was the redsea refractometer. It was terrible and looks like many others have had the same issue.

Otherwise even cheap brine and brackish water refractometers common in this hobby have held up better for me and my vital sine / vee gee refractometer being the best at holding its calibration for me. DDH2Ocean was pretty good too but the vee gee refractometer I prefer over it.

I have the redsea LFS pushed on me. I told them the reviews I saw on it. They said they never have those problems with there's... lol Add me to the list of others that do!

Tested my old handheld tds meter and that's off as well. Guess I need to buy a new one. No adjustments on it. Any recommendations?
