I have had my refractometer to test my salinity for over a year now and it doesn't seem to hold a calibration but from use to use. What is a good one to buy I know they can be hit and miss and not hold a calibration.

I think I am going to go with a hydrometer, until I upgrade to the Milwaukee digital one. Probably good to have both on hand anyways.

Not sure if you can get D&D h2ocean over there, its a good one and at the lower end price wise, if you want to go Ferrari lvl a VeeGee is probably as good as it gets for a refractometer

I calibrate mine before each measurement, which means multiple times when mixing saltwater... It's so easy to do and then I don't need to worry about it being off.

I also use the TM Hydrometer.
