Hey!
Not sure if this is the right spot for this question, new to this forum (first time posting, certainly not first time reading
)
I bought some cultivated frozen bloodworms a couple hours ago. They sat in the car (quite cold, about 5-10C; 40-50F) for about 1.5h, from shop to home. I had them rapped in some shirts. However when I got home, they were slightly soft, not rock-hard like they are out of the freezer. The corner 4 cubes were even mushy, kinda similar to a slushy in texture. The middle cubes were still frozen inside, but a bit soft on the outside. All cubes were very cold, i'm guessing near 0C (30F). Put them in the freezer now.
Are they still safe to feed my fish? They were never warm, and not 100% thawed. The most thawed cubes were slushy, not fully liquid. Seal is intact, so no/minimal contact with air.
Thanks!
