I see you've never been properly welcomed to the forum. Welcome to R2R!#WelcometoR2R![]()
I don't believe that little amount of light is going to hurt anything, I have the Kessil H380 on my fuge in my sump, and I get a little bit of light spillage in and around my stand, and some makes it into the tank and there have been no Ill effects. Any pictures with the lights on so we can see how its setup? Is there a bracket or something you could put in the way to block the light?
. For whatever reason I haven’t taken any pics of the actual filter so if you’re interested I can later once I’m home.Welcome to R2R..
Agree with @Crabs Mcjones comments. It should not have ill effects in the display with such little light bleed. I have mounted mine to the back wall instead of top down, so it reduces the spillage.
I will. I have a velcro around the corner and it is mounted to the glass. I will upload a pic this evening.Could you post a pic of it mounted to the wall? I was thinking about doing it but I haven’t really seen any or had the confidence to attempt it.
I love that flat rock you've got in there.![]()
Thank you for the welcome it’s much appreciated!! I didn’t think the small amount would hurt it but I just wanted a second opinion so I don’t screw this up. I’ll post more pics but here is all lit up.
Thank you ! I hand pick that one from a guy breaking down a larger tank. I had to break it because it was so large. Looking forward to when it’s not such a bright white color.I love that flat rock you've got in there.
