Refuge algae

Tank has been doing really great. Do I need to clean this out every so often. Net out some algae. Thoughts. My tank is a 125 fowlr. I have 2 large fish. A tang and emperor and 3 small guys.

Yes. Clean it out regularly. Let it grow back. Repeat. The algae is fed off of excess 'waste'. Remove the algae, remove the waste.
