Refugium algae explosion

I got my refugium up and running 2 weeks ago and it’s sure doing some growing. My chaeto is over 4x the size of what I added and is about the size of how big I wanna maybe try and keep it. But all the other algae that started growing is crazy. There’s some bubble algae growing so I added some emerald crabs today and a turbo snail a couple days ago. Is it normal for a refugium to explode in 2 weeks like this and should I let it do it’s thing or clean it up? I’ve been searching and reading but can’t seem to find what I’m looking for

What light are you using over you're fuge? And if the nutrients are there it's not abnormal at all for a ball of chaeto to go nuts

I would say you have A lot of nutrients In Your water and the refugium is doing exactly what it's there for which is growing algae instead of your DT growing it

The bubble algae is on pvc and bottom of tank only

I started with an led par38 for the home store for a couple days then picked up a grow light bulb that people here kept recomending

Start removing some of the algae and chucking it in the garbage - that's the actual nitrate export right there - leaving the stuff in is not nutrient export!
