None of them root so they’ll either float or you can glue them to a rock. I do the latter.

I’ve never had anything go asexual. Primary light is southern exposed window. I have kessils for backup on cloudy days and winter.

The algae in my refugium needs pruning!

I will include 5 algae’s from my refugium. I would give you a chunk of each at least 2” most likely bigger. Shipping via priority mail, Monday or Tuesday.

It's all edible by fish and your tangs would make short work of it. I often will feed extra to my tangs (in a separate tank) and it must be quite tasty as it's gone in minutes.

As for pros/cons over Cheato? Cheato is fast growing usually but didn't really grow great for me. I have some in my system but the these outcompete it. I assume there's something in my water that they like or can consume more efficiently than Cheato. My understanding of Cheato is it's very good at removing Nitrogen. I have a very high coral load and often have to dose Nitrates, so it's not something I'm looking to remove. Another pro is they're beautiful.
