Just installed a fluval nano led as a refugium light.

Light is 10” from water
Water is 10” deep.

I have substrate and am wondering how to prevent algae growth?

Any ideal parameters or ideal light spectrums to keep the plant material alive but not have algae growth?

Any help or suggestion is appreciated.

Mine is full of hair algae, but my chaeto is starting to take over. I added a few snails and crabs to help. They definately aren't keeping up. Thinking about throwing a Tang or Foxface in for the short term.
