@Aquaforest

Folks,

Is it safe to run a reactor based refugium for nutrient control, while using the probiotic salt?

I've read a few conflicting things, so figured I would post here to ask AF directly.

Thanks!

I'm assuming you mean the aquaforest probiotic salt. If so, it should be fine. From my understanding the bacteria in that is mean to go in the tank, take some nitrate and phosphate out, then get skimmed out. I'm not 100% certain that I correct but from what I've looked up on their website before that is how it works. As always just make sure your nitrates and phosphates dont hit zero
