Refugium critters / things

Hi all

Ive noticed the glass in my refugium has a load of these things on it.
The pics not great, it’s the white thing! They’re little white balls with feathers coming out the top.
As far as I can tell they don’t move.
Does anyone recognise them?

I have them in my tank/sump. From the time I have had them in my tank they seem harmless and useless. I wouldn’t worry to much but I’m also in search for a name. All I can say is I have them in my tank and haven’t noticed any negative effects yet.
