so i fianlly decided that i was going to put a refugium on my tank to get ready to put my corals in! and it turned out alot better than i expected! i used a 20 gal long and had a glass shop cut 1/4 inch glass to 11 3/4! i used aquarium sealant to seal the baffles in! got my pump protein skimmer and light and now its ready to be put on the tank and plumbed! i think it turned out nice let me know what you guys think of it

oh and btw my protein skimmer is running in regualr saltwater i wanted to see how good it worked! its a sca-301 and it works really well
 
I setup my sump in the same manner. I've had a tough time with excess nutrients in my system and have had red/brown algae growing under my lights. Changed them out and it disappeared for a while before showing its ugly head again a short time later. Make sure to change the bulbs regularly and make sure to alternate the light on the refugium opposite of the lights on the display tank!
