Refugium for Fluval Evo 13.5

@StephDaReefer
What light is this?

Can’t find how to share the url to it but here’s a screenshot. It’s actually a really good price. I paid $40

I can't quite tell how you mounted this in your original picture. I have another AIO i built that I am using one of these https://www.google.com/search?ei=6g...hUKEwj7ou_fmo3nAhWGm1kKHU4ADGAQ4dUDCAs&uact=5
Not seeing much growth out of chaeto and I am wondering if its the light...

I used heavy duty 3m double sided tape I found at my local target, though I have heard of others using industrial velcro strips which might be a better option however I couldn't find any. I think the honeycomb design of the fluval really lets light in. It’s important to get it from the long side of the chaeto rather than the top narrower side. If you have a blacked out sump in the back. You can probably razor a square and peel off the paint/sticker.

Thanks for that StephDaReefer.
I found the latest version of that on Amazon. Will probably be buying some for my set up.

I’ve been running a refugium in the second chamber for about 2 years. Ive been running it so long that I can’t remember if it made a difference or not. Yes it does leave some chaeto pieces in your display from time to time but if you syphon your sand then it shouldn’t be a big deal. One big benefit, atleast for me, is that I have many copepods in my tank which is always a hood sign and feeds my fish and corals at times. :)

Do you have it free floating in chamber 2 or are you using something like inTank?
