refugium help

So i want to set up a refugium to boost my copepod population before i add a green mandarin and a red mandarin to my tank, i am new to reef tanks but not to saltwater tanks, can yall please tell me what all i need to build a fuge, where i should house it and what all of the setup steps are...thanks in advance

I dont currently have a sump setup, i am using a ehiem canister filter until i can get a sump built and set up

A partition. (1/4" square plastic gris "egg crate" works well).

Just partition off say the last 3" of the tank, add your pods and chaeto, then add lights behind the tank pointing forward. Pods and macros will thrive in the 3" and the mandarins can feast on the pods the go thru the partition.
