Hi everyone! I'm back with more questions
I'm using one of those large plastic storage containers as an external fuge. It's from an old 120 I had set up a while ago.
It's just a regular storage container with a bulkhead on the side and a hole in the lid. Basically the return pump is T'd off to feed through the hole in the lid and it gravity feeds back to the sump through the bulkhead in the side. This design worked very well for me on the 120 so I know that much of it is sound.
My question is, could I cut one of the sides of the container away and silicon in a piece of glass so I can view it from the side instead of only top down?
I'm worried about the flexibility of the plastic splitting the silicon and causing a flood. If it won't work, I'll keep it as a top down view only.
Has anyone here had experience doing this?
Thanks!
