refugium IM lagoon

I should recieve my InTank refugium basket today and I was curious if there is any difference with mounting the ACKE grow light on the back (after removing the black plastic) or right above the refugium? I know in the back it will hide it better but with the tank already setup and going its a little more difficult to cut and remove the backing. If there is no difference really then I will make a bracket out of alumnium and then mount that to the wall and light will mount to that bracket.

I had a IM lagoon 25 gal, and I mounted mine of the back. I just used double sided tape and it stayed on just fine. you won't need to build a bracket.

correct that I can but is there are differnce with lighting from the top or the side. I would guess the side would be best more surface area contact with the macro and light that way vs top down.

Went a head and put it on the back. Was a little tight for my hands to get back there but easy enough. Thanks for the help.

That is perfect. exactly how I did it. And you are correct, alot more coverage for the Chaeto, and that is the exact same light I got. it works REALLY well.
