refugium in AIO worth it?

hi everyone, i’m wondering if anybody has ran a refugium in a nano AIO such as a nuvo 25 lagoon or 40. what’s ur experience? is it worth it? was the chamber big enough to allow enough growth to actually remove nutrients? drop some knowledge

Following. I've considered using the area in my Nuvo 20 where the filter socks go to put refugium canisters because the filter socks are garbage and caused more problems in my tank than any added benefit. Haven't pulled the trigger yet though.

have you tried using filter floss instead? that’s what i use in my 25 lagoon and it works soooo much better than socks
