Hey Guys! So I recently installed my aquarium and I want to add a refugium to my Nuvo 30L (30gallons) It's all in one aquarium. I wonder where should I place my refugium.

For now, I have my first LEFT chamber with a filter sock and second LEFT chamber empty and the third chamber is the return chamber with a bag of matrix.

In the first RIGHT chamber I have a basket with Chemi pure blue and GFO bag. The second right chamber is for protein skimmer.

So I was thinking to move my skimmer to the second LEFT chamber and have MY refugium in the second RIGHT chamber. So what do you guys think about it ?

Or Is it better to put refugium in the first right or first left chamber since its the water gate ?

Here how it looks for the chambers: http://www.innovative-marine.com/nuvo-aquarium/specs/micro30L-spec-sheet.pdf

Thank you guys :)

2nd chamber is always better for a fuge, your mechanical filteration will keep our of the junk your don’t want in the fuge

One more question should I put it on the right side or left side? I have filter shock on the first left side and media basket on the first right side.

Thank you :)
