refugium light advice?

You will see that a lot of us use different lights and they all work. This should work depending on how large your setup is.
Many use different amazon bulbs and many swear by Kessil. #reefsquad or anyone with Amazon lights please chime in.

Yup. Those are good. It’s the more powerful of the bulbs I belive. If you have a small stand and fuge , look for the smaller version.

It's almost all red, so maybe. Also keep in mind with no-name lights that you're looking at a nominal power rating....there are "80 watts worth of LED's" on that bulb. It will not be running at 80 watts. (If you read into the fine print it's a 20w bulb.)

I'd use a warm white floodlight from a local hardware or reef store that you can easily get and return, should the need arise. ;)

You can get 2-packs for as little as half this cost.

Note, it's not an 80W bulb....it's an 80 watt equivalent....running at 20 watts. Having 120 LED's, that's about 0.17 watts per LED. Might work fine in air as a plant grow bulb, but that low of wattage will have poor water penetration. Might work, but I'd be looking at bulbs that have about 2 watts per LED or higher.

I am using a Par 28 e26/27 "plant grow spectrum" Led bulb from Amazon. Growing chaeto 3 X 's faster than a 60-watt daylight bulb. And only around 18 watts usage (bulb rated for more.) Have been monkeying around for awhile with trying different solutions! The macro is So Healthy, too!! Some sinularia & an umbrella leather also are giving that light "Best in Class"! For my wattage needs, it's a super efficient producer. Look for bulbs with silver, not black, bases, though--heat can be an issue with those cool-looking black LED bulbs!

I used a 9-watt full spectrum LED lamp from Lowe's to grow Caulerpa and Chaeto in a 100-gallon Rubbermaid sump. Granted, the algae were placed near the light, but I never had a nuisance algae problem in the display tank. In fact, Pocillopora damicornis corals were reproducing. In agree with jda's earlier statement - It's easy to over-think refuge lighting. Of course we all what the 'best' lighting but the fact is any light source is a compromise (either spectrum or intensity.)

Should work, maybe the growth won’t be as fast as a higher wattage bulb. I’m using a Kessil H380 and a light from Amazon and they grow macros like no other. One just happens to be significantly cheaper than the other.

I figured it was worth trying a couple $25-$50 range before laying down $300+ on a Kessil just for growing algae. Glad I tried it.
Done well in the past with the Home Depot clip on dome lights and incandescent then CP; all worked.
