In my tank cabinet I have 2 water lines (1/2“ clear tubing) running off of my manifold. One to my GFO reactor and the other feeds my UV. The issue is the LED refugium light, which only is on for 4 hours at night, is causing algae to build up and somewhat clog the tubing feeding those 2 devices. I’ve tried reducing the amount of time the light is on but to no avail. The tubes are actually mounted above the light for the most part but that obviously doesn’t seem to matter.

Thoughts on how to keep this from happening?

Thanks in advance,

Troy
