Hi all, So I understand that people normally run there refugium on a reverse light cycle with the main tank to keep the pH stable, I currently don't have any corals in this current tank yet so will running it on a reverse light cycle cause any harm? Thanks!

it won't do anything different. algae and corals absorb co2 so and the less co2 the higher the ph so if there is something constantly absorbing co2 the ph stays consistently high.

No harm.
I cant see where it has made any difference to me, reverse or regular. I would not worry about the PH swing. It happens in the ocean.
