My question is.. Will the overflow of light cause an algae issue in my reactors? Should I build some type of cover/shield? Or am I just over thinking things?

If you're referring to the reactors above the light you should be ok. The little spill over that they'll get shouldn't be powerful enough to grow anything. Really nice looking setup by the way :)

That's what I was thinking but it's been bugging me. Thanks for the input.

And thanks for the compliment. It's my labor of OCPD love. Haha

It will grow, got coralinr growing in skimmer next to fuge, trying a sheet of cardboard to block light will see if it works, also thought of sunscreen

I was thinking of having vinyl cut to fit the panels of the canisters. But again, I think I'm just over thinking a simple thing.
