Refugium Light Schedule???

I'm adding a chaeto into my BioCube 29 system soon. I've read that some people light their refugium on a schedule opposite to their tank light. This is supposedly done to help reduce Ph shifts. Others leave them on 24/7.

What are your best practices?

I run mine 24/7 365 days on both my systems one of them is a bio cube 29 hqi

I think you will find both work. Opposite the dt and 24/7. I have chaeto and do 24/7.

Thanks for the feedback. Maybe I'll do some Ph testing to see if there is any real difference. I'll do an unscientific experiment and post the result.

I tried to switch mine from 24/7 to a schedule and it screwed my ph up so im going to keep it 24/7

I always ran it opposite and prolly will continue.
