Watch the K rating though. A lot of them have been much lower lately.....int he 2700's or so, which is functionally useless for us. Make sure you get one that is 6500 or 6600k.

I use the led bulbs from HD they work great!

6500 and above are found online only. Hd and lowes have 5k and work perfect for cheato and culerpa. Costcos sell the 6k and i didnt see a difference.

I second the porko, this guy grows algae like a champ! Even in his main and frag tanks! LOL

Get the 5000K color rating, I just gave away half a 5G bucket of chaeto.
