Refugium light

How long should the Refugium light run each day? Can I keep it on all day and night or should I have it in a timer? If so, kindly share how long you run your light on your system.

I run mine for 10 hours each night. This keep my PH level steady throughout a 24 hour period.

My fuge is lighted on a schedule opposite my display lighting. I get excellent growth, a stable pH, and good nutrient uptake.

At night? So when your lights go off, your refugium light comes on?

I run mine an hour before my lights go off and they turn off an hour before my main lights go on. So basically it runs opposite to my display lights. You run them at night so that it doesn't affect pH when your display lights are off.
