Refugium lighting options?

Hi, I'm looking to add this light into my nano tank as a refugium light. Will it be strong enough to grow Cheato?

This specs are as follows
15 LEDs
3 W
RGB Multicolour controllable light

It will work. But cheato, in a nano, might be hard to sustain long term. Trimming it often may help but when cheato gets momentum it will strip out the vitamins and nutrients it uses and starve itself.
You can grow cheato just fine with a regular light bulb.

Is that 15 LEDs at 3 watts a piece, or 3 watts total?

Can you provide a bit more information about how large the area you'll be growing cheato is in? Is this in the back compartment of an all in one, in a plumbed sump, in an in-tank media basket, etc.?

It will be grown in the back section of the all in one tank. The tank is 48Gallons.
