Refugium lighting

Hi yes I am curious to see the recommendations as I have a trigger system sump refugium and now need a light too!

I was using a par30 bulb. Now I'm using a cfl. Both grow cheato without issue.

I have a refugium separate from my sump. I use two screw in 5000K, 23 watt, worm, florescent, daylight bulbs, each in one of those cheap clip on aluminum reflectors. Working great.

I run a 19 watt 8000k LED stunner strip with the added reflector to help direct the light into the area of the sump that I want the chaeto to grow.

5k is a better range. 3200 is more for flowering plants.

Get this bulb.

The daylight 6500k CFL was $2.48 for two of them. Package claims 12,000 hours of life per bulb.
