Indeed! Cool, common little critters!

Mysid is a classification of these creatures. (Actually, an Order.)

Mysis is a brand of food, composed of a type, or types, of Mysid shrimp.

Managed to get a few close ups with my old camera of the mysids since they were swarming a little more than usual today. It is extremely hard to get pics of them because they are very zippy.

In this pic you can see an amphipod and at the bottom of the pic you can see an adult Mysid Shrimp. All the little specs are the swarming babies.

Fish eat them, so do molluscs.

Thanks Todd!My name is Todd too.Yep definitely Mysid. I didn't have much luck with the pics.They are too small and very quick for my camera.

Maybe take a video
