Anybody ever add a refugium to a max nano? If so which one

I can’t help with the question, but I can bump the thread to see if we can get you some help

Thanks. Has anybody just put chaeto in the overflow area? I’m sure I could find a clip on fuge light

I ordered a HOB fuge that SHOULD have fit but when I got it in it seemed that it would be just about the same size as the entire back of the tank. I didn’t want to risk overflowing the system so I sent it back :(

Any updates here specifically a max nano or any AIO nano tanks?

I am looking for a refugium myself for the max nano. I have seen some interesting DIY set ups on tube land but wanted to check in here for success/ideas. I am keen of keeping the AIO tank practical, adding a sump is not a preferred option.

I saw someone do this in a waterbox. Cutting a small hole on the black sticker for the back flow area to Velcro a light. They used canisters to hold the chaeto in place.

Which chamber are you thinking? Viewing the tank from the front left to right is the filter sock > protein skimmer > carbon > pump chamber.

I have my heater and dosing lines in the pump chamber. Temp probe in the filter sock chamber. I do use my protein skimmer and carbon….not sure where I would fit it.
