Refugium pests, Aiptasia?

Hi

I noticed in my sump yesterday I have something growing on my rock. Is it Aiptasia and does it to need to be removed from the refugium.

There is no signs in the main display.

That would be aptasia, I would remove them. Eventually they will end up in the display.

whats the best way to get rid of them ?

Pull them out and added Peppermint Shrimp to the sump?

Turn off the flow, if it's on small pieces of rock then just toss them. If they are stuck to the glass I would siphon them during a water change.

Completely agree with DSC Reef.. they will make there way into display! Peppermints may work in your sump, however I would never put them in my display tank.
