Refugium question

I’m going to do a 10 gallon refugium for my 55 gallon reef tank should I just have chaeto algae in my refugium of something else

Just chato is fine. You can add other macros as well.

Other things , like deep sand beds , live rock, bio media are just options.

I was thinking of putting cheato and marine pure blocks

That’ll work. I’d add the Marine pure slowly , Esp if you’re nutints are normal to low. If nutints stay very low , it is nice that they can be easily removed. It’s one reason I reccomend to avoid rubble.

Hi , I wanted to add a separate refugium to accompany my emerald 34 sump that’s beneath my 100g Dt. I was considering plumbing a 10 g tank into the system . Any thoughts on this size as well as how to plumb this in? Thanks
