i run my fuge lights 18/6 with fuge on when tank lights are off and yea i just use a clamp light $5 at walmart.

since the 2 inch sand bed was mentioned... Not sure what the purpose of this is unless you just like having extra sand. At 4" up to 6" it will start to reduce nitrate. 2" just means more sand to collect gunk in.

Bishop. That's basically what happened. I had extra aragonite left over so I decided to place it in my sump with rock rubble.
