I just bought a Trigger system Ruby 36. I also bought a new protein skimmer (OctoReef 200-INT). The skimmer is HUGE! My plan is to start my refugium in the same chamber as my return water comes in, the skimmer in the next chamber, bio balls in the filtration chamber, pumps in to the tank in the last chamber. So out of four chambers in this sump it'll go; water into filter socks/refugium chamber, skimmer, bio balls/filters/ pump out. Does anyone see any issue with this? I wanted to throw the skimmer in the same chamber as the return, but the skimmer is too big.

Thoughts?

some people prefer to have the refugium after the skimmer so copepods etc have less of a chance getting filtered out but its preference more nutrients to refugium or more of a chance for copepods to get back to DT
