refugium worth it?

Hello All,

My Waterbox 180.5 has a refugium chamber built into the sump. The refugium chamber is 9W x 16L X 11D and holds roughly 6.86 gallons. Is it really worth having a small refugium on 180g system? I almost want to remove the baffle to have more room for equipment. I'd like to hear your thoughts.

Depends if your fish need pods.I wouldn't put equipment in the fug.

It has a removable baffle to combine with the skimmer chamber.

I currenty dont have any pods. Thats a good point if I ever do though.

Pods dont need refugiums to live, I dont understand that.
