Refugium

Ok I have a 29 gal tank set up with coral, fish and invertebrates. My filtration is the hang on the back type: coralsea protein skimmer and three stage refugium. I have a ten gallon tank, what I want to do is hang both of these filters onto the back of the ten gallon, let gravity bring the water from the display tank to the refugium and use a powerhead to send it back. Can this work?

Absolutely. You're essentially adding a sump
