Another topic -what are the best types of plants to put into my refugium?

I have found Cheato is one of the best. It doesn't attach to anything (like caulerpa can).

Has anyone put halimedia in the sump?

i had halimedia when i first started it but was not doing a good job on export so i switched to cheto

chaeto definitely... i have heard that halimedia can become fertilized and dump nitrates and also ive heard its really hard to get ou of live rock if it gets into it.
