Refurbished items that are being sold.

I was buying an xr15’s gen 4 pro off of somebody on a local forum. The ad mentioned it that it was only used a few months and was in new condition. Went through a whole back and forth with him on picking it from being I had a tight schedule he wasn’t really sure if I was going to buy it. took me about a week. The day came I was on the road to pick it up not to far but a densely populated area so lots of traffic and I went during rush hour so even more traffic. I was excited about picking the light up. I finally get there and in casual conversation he mentions that he had to send it back for repairs. I feel that this is something that should have been mentioned in the ad. I would have given it more thought or more than likely not responded to it. Needless to say I didn’t take the light. I just feel that if something has been repaired you should mention it in the ad. I just feel that it should be mentioned if an item has been repaired and the price should reflect that. Maybe make it a rule in the for sale forum.

Yea you will see that a lot with EcoTech. Some people upgrade them or repair due to how expensive they are.
