Hi,
With a heavy heart I have to put the ATB V 1.5 skimmer for trade.
The skimmer was bought only a month back from a fellow reefer in order to pursue my future build.
The only mistake I did was to buy it before the tank.
Now that I have the tank , the skimmer won't fit inside the stand nor my sump. I got no option but to sell it.
It comes with the Sicce psk 2500 which has known start up issues. I just want to be honest about it. I faced the same and all i did was to take the pump out and refit the impeller to make it start again.
But once it starts , it skims like crazy only because its so well balanced as a skimmer. Probably one of the best balanced skimmers ever made .
You can change the pump to Sicce 1000 or the new Waveline ATB DCT pump if you wish so but I didn't feel the need.

The last pic shows the crazy bubbles it can form just in 20% vinegar solution.
I am interested in trade for a smaller skimmer of similar capability .
