Regal angel or copperband butterfly?

The regal angel is set to come in tomorrow morning at 1030. So, leaving work for an hour to acclimate him. So excited can't wait. Will post pictures when I get him in the tank.

Regals are grazers and they need their food attached to something as it will take a while to get used to other types of food, they love nori, clams, mussels, oysters, sponges and so. Here is a short video of mine:

Thanks. I just got him. FedEx said 1030 this morning but didn't get here till 445 this afternoon. The fish isn't doing to good and is mouth to water with tail pointing towards the ground. I got him from nyaquatics and Michael said that he already has them eating though I know that can change. I've received plenty of fish sent to my lfs that I've picked up and we're still in the shipping bag and none of them have looked like this. I think the fish is like this cause it was in the bag to long due to fedex. Hopefully the fish will recover though I'm not to sure about this one.

Yea that doesn't look good i would be mad at FedEx for sure and he's not fat either I don't think he was ready to be shipped if you ask me. Good luck man.

Yeah. That's an extra 6 almost 7 hours he had to sit in the bag due to fedex. Michaels a good guy and I know he s not the reason for him being this way. Who knows how fedex treated him while on transit. They could of just thrown him around like a rag doll too. Who knows just hoping for the best.

He's doing 100 times better. He's swimming around and doing his thing

I saw him pick on the rock earlier didn't eat when I fed, but again that's typical he looked interested, but seemed to scared to go at it like he just isn't comfortable yet.

Really hope your beautiful Regal will start eating. I bought mine just two weeks ago and as you can see in my video he already is an adult. He wouldn´t touch any of the foods I normally offer to my fish. During this two weeks I fed him nori attached to a small rock, mussels and clams on a half shell. To my surprise yesterday he ate a tiny bit of the blend I fed to all fish and corals. This morning he ate the same blend like a pig and I am so much happier now!

I have a CBB in QT that will not eat. I would go with the regal you have a better shot at keeping it alive.

What are you feeding your CBB with?
