I've had mine for around 4 months now and I love mine. Mine has nipped at SPS from the start, occasionally nips at my clams, and picks at my scolys a bit as well. It's an Angelfish and will likely nip at something. Mine eats anything I put in the tank food wise (algae, mysis, Rod's, etc). While I do not blame the fish for any coral deaths, if you have a coral that is unhealthy, he / she will be the "closer". If you have LPS that is not doing well or an SPS piece that is STN / RTN, the fish will pounce on that. To me, it is worth the lack of polyp extension on my SPS and an occasional nip at my clams. I love the fish and plan to keep it in the tank. It will need a good hiding place and will be very shy at first (most likely).
In my opinion, nothing beats the look of a healthy Regal. They are just stunning!!! Pacific Island Aquatics (another sponsor here) also has these in stock I believe (where I got mine).
