Regal Angel with Injury???

Guys,
My Regal has had this bump or little skin irritation on his side for a while... He eats like a champ even up until today.... Reef Frenzy and Pellets Dailey.... Any reason for concern??? It’s almost like his skin in the small area is deformed a little bit. No red color.....

When you say a while, how long are we talking? Could be an infection, or lymphocystis ( a common viral infection) #reefsquad

My thoughts are that if it isn't red or a fuzzy white mark then it isn't something that is easily treated. If it were my fish I would leave it in the tank and continue to observe.

Agree but have a qt ready with antibiotics (kanaplex, metroplex, and furan 2) just in case because regals are very prone to infections, for whatever reason.

When I got him 3 months back, I didn’t notice it. I noticed it like 6 weeks ago.... it’s almost like a bump, or skin irritation.... His behavior is fine though....

Is dark, dark brown to black? In that case my 5 cents goes on a result of earlier mechanic damage of the skin/muscus layer. Its the fish respons to secondary infections.

He eats Fish Frenzy like a pig, as well as I feed him medium size Pellets Daily....
