Hi anyone here have a regal or majestic angel in a paly and zoa tank ive had one in a sps dominated tank with few issues, thanks

I do

I have a Regal and Goldflake in a 340 and neither mess with zoos. I have seen the Regal occasionally nip at my Duncan, but it has been almost 2 years and the Duncan has quadrupled in size (or more). He just makes the duncan go in for an hour or so, which is annoying. The one rule of thumb about angels in the reef is that there is no rule of thumb. He could just wake up one morning and decide he is going to eat all of my LPS. I'm ok with that though, he is awesome. I doubt he'll ever touch the SPS. What size tank is he in?

BTW i feed 11 times a day, so my guy rarely gets bored enough to start "nipping."

I had a Regal in my reef and eventually had to pull him out. He did eat zoos at times and once he started chomping on my LE chalices it was time for him to go. They are all different one might leave them alone and one might eat everything. He did not touch any SPS FWIW.

FWIW, my Goldflake is over 5 years in my tank and is a perfect "angel", for all of you wanting to add that angel to the mix. They are notoriously good in reefs. I even got the ok from Fenner, which is always on the side of caution.

I've owned my regal for almost 3 yrs now and my tank is full of zoo's , pally's, just about everything and never a problem except for acans and scolymias.
