Regal in Observation

Purchased Regal from online source. He told me prophylactically treated with copper and prazi. 7th day in observation QT and I see this on the fin. Should immediately start Copper Power and GC or should I wait?

Are the spots raised like a piece of sand or sugar stuck to him?

Could be lympho... maybe just keep an eye on it a bit longer. If it stays in one place and gets larger before it goes away, it’s lympho. If the spots drop off and then reappear somewhere else, it could be ich or another parasite.

Personally, I don’t trust anyone’s QT but my own... except maybe @Humblefish

If it were my fish, I’d be working on getting it eating first.... and then thinking about prophylactic treatments.

It eats mysis no problem. Seems to be happy and active.

I’m going to concur with @ngoodermuth it’s likely lympho starting as long as the spots don’t look like granules of salt stuck to his sides.

Agree with the above with lympho. keep an eye on it and if its in the same spot in 5-7 days then its most probably lympho and it usually tends to get bigger. Angels are notorious for it.

Thanks everyone for the feedback. He is in the same tank with a clownfish that had lympho. So there's probably a good chance it infected him.
