Got this little guy two weeks ago. Been in QT since then. I could see white spots when i bought it, together with these bumps. Today I checked and saw the bumps still. Can anyone tell what the bumps are?

You will want to treat with copper, TTM or hypo. CP is not safe for hippos. Paraguard will not erradicate ich.
A 5 min FW dip to make sure flukes aren't present is also a good idea

Ya if he or she has Ich Or velvet Paraguard isn’t going to cut it. I think I would ether do TTM or use copper power
poor guy. I have never seen ich bumps like that before.
Was this fellow in copper at the place you purchased him from?
We've seen something vaguely similar in fish that have been in copper for a while from time to time . . .
