What is up with my tang? I was thinking bacterial infection? It has been hiding for about 6 months now eating bits and bats, but recently been wedging right into rockwork.

Pic very distorted from reflections and somewhat fuzzy. Appears to have light HLLE erosion at face and thin suggesting nutritional deficiency .
What foods are feeding this guy ?
How is bereathing , , , Normal or labored ?

Been fed a mixture of food, greens and frozen, but as its hiding and only grabs what goes past his cave. Breathing is a little fast. I worry as my picasso trigger is now hiding also but with no visual Marks.

Fast breathing . . . . do either of these fish also display lethargic behavior or swimming near the water surface, hiding in the corner of tank or behind rocks, loss of appetite, shaking its head, flashing/darting, develop clamped fins, , or scratching against objects. They may also exhibit what looks like yawning from gill irritation develop, cloudy eyes and loss of color . If so - Flukes which is my suspect

Can you specify what foods they are ?

Frozen krill, white shrimp, nori, and mussel. I treated for flukes last night but I haven't seen any scratching or anything just hiding.

Nothing has been added since last November
Looks like a more chronic issue - so that narrows things down not so much: diet, water quality or flukes.
What treatment did you use for flukes?

I added fluke solve last night. My main concern would be something that could take the while tank down

Agree with the others - seems like more of a chronic issue. Is the fish eating 'well'. I'm wondering if it also could have an internal parasite - OR another chronic wasting disease. As to your trigger - that may be a completely different issue. (But could also be flukes). Would watch carefully, see if feeding more/differently as @vetteguy53081 suggested helps. With the praziquantel - would make sure you have increased aeration as well.

Have you measured the usual parameters?

Since you don’t know if the fish could have egg laying flukes, if you see any improvement after the fluke solve, you should dose it again about 9 days later.
