Regenerate or Repurpose DI Resin. If so how?

Seen this topic come up in a thread and am curious how folks are going about re using DI Resin.
How are you doing it and what materials are needed?

I've been regenerating my DI resins for 10 years, but have found information that both GFO (chemical regen) and activated carbon (microwave regen) can also be regenerated. Has anyone tried it?

Probably a dumb question but I'll ask it anyway. I have a whole batch of mix bed that dried out on me. Do you have a hack to reionize or make it wet again?

I think that the “Do not allow to dry out” claim maybe false, to be honest. I’ve heard that numerous times over the years. However saying that, I don’t recall letting any go bone dry myself (then again, I can’t remember what I had for breakfast yesterday either). I’d just chuck some RO through it and see what happens, perhaps let it soak for a while before taking TDS measurements before condemning it to the bin.

Thanks man I took a gamble with it last round. Still had a slight stink but kind of poured into the can a little like sand and i have been stressed about it ever since. Don't know how far I can trust my tds meters but I am getting 0 after my anion and mixed bed can so hoping for this best.
