I have a small 5g tank which only had a two hobhob filter with some ceramic rings, a small pouch of chemi pure blue nano and some filter floss. I added a pouch of regenerated purigen and came back around a hour later and the water was tinted yellow. Has anyone had issues like this before. Followed the regeneration down to a T and made sure to leave it soaking in RO water with prime for double them time. Could the purigen be bad?

That is very odd. I have used a whole lot of purigen over the years and have never seen that happen. Maybe some others can chime in. Did you use bleach without any addtives? Gel bleach isn't very clear on the label.

Yes normal bleach no additives it is wierd, messaged seachem and they told me it cannot be from the purigen because it does not release anything once it holds it. Purchas3d a new bag of purigen and placed some carbon in the tank, im going to check the water parameters this is odd.
