What are your thoughts on these 2 fish. A customer came in with these pictures and I'm thinking it's a combination of regular and black Ich

The blue tang is just infested and its hard to tell if its ich or velvet, the yellow tang seems more likely to have ich. Anyways I would recommend immediate treatment by copper or cp immediately, they seem really infested.Im assuming the tangs are in FW, if not either do FW or even better formalin/acriflavine bath prior to treatment to provide as much relief as possible.
For the black spots, on the blue tang they look like black ich, but the yellow they look a bit odd, but black ich can be simply treated by prazipro or several formalin baths.

Tend to agree with you, Andys - I definitely see ich, looks like turbellarians ("black ich, actually a parasitic worm) - and two very unhappy fish. That doesn't mean that velvet can't be in there as well!

Aykwm's got a pretty good protocol laid out for your customer - I would add that his/her display tank should run without fish for 76 days, in order to starve out the last ich holdouts before returning fish to the tank.

Turbellarians (Black ich) for certain; but I'm not 100% sure if that's ich or velvet on the Hippo.

My thoughts exactly. Due to the sheer numbers I tend to think velvet-- but who knows.

Either way those poor fish are in dire straights!

I agree with the others as well. I would do this:

5 minute Freshwater Dip on all affected fish
acriflavin bath (you can use ruby reef rally for this)
into QT with copper (CP can't be used because of the hippo tang)
Get the copper levels to therapeutic within 24 hours and hold for 30 days.
Prazipro can be used during this time, but if possible save it for after the copper.

Melypr1985 CP=Cupermine ? and why cant you use it with the blue tang ?
No, its chloroquine phosphate. Blue tangs are sensitive to it and will most likely perish before end of treatment, rest of the tangs are fine with it. Copper in all forms (ionic or chelated) will work fine with all tangs including blue tang.
