I have an Eheim heater that has always kept the temperature fairly stable until now. I only notice that due to the warmer weather, there are more differences in the water temperature. now I have a beginner's question: which devices do I need to ensure that my temperature remains stable? I notice in warm weather that the temperature can rise quickly. I would like this to be automatically controlled and to be able to see the temperature on my phone. I just have no idea how you guys do this and what equipment exactly goes with it. (I don't have a sump)

A fan is the best start. Controlled by an aquarium computer or a twin controller - here is on suggestion for the easy way However it does not include an app. A Profilux P4 can solve that problem - but the cost is higher. But - as they say on public radio in Sweden - there is other brands that's ar good too :)

Sincerely Lasse
Thanks! So if im right, the 2 power points of this controller should be in 1: the heater, and 2: the fan? and then the controller controls the stability of this? sorry i have never worked with a temperature controller..

Yes - that the general Idea. I recommend to use a titan heater without internal thermostat. They heaters with inbuild regulation normally fail sooner or later even if Eheim/Jaeger is the best of them

You could also build a reef pi with temp sensors and a kasa power strip

If the single Eheim is not keeping up, then you might need a second one to account for the ambient temp drop to the tank temp. This is common. Edit: my bad, I misread your post, so forget about this part.

I do not know what is available in Spain, but I recommend commercial Ranco temperature controllers in the US - they are not expensive and are industrial grade. Set the Ranco to 78F and the Eheims to 79F. They make dual stage (cool and heat) or single stage (just heat). No phone display on a Ranco, but world-class reliability. If you want phone apps, then get something good like a GHL or Apex, but phone apps are not necessary.

If you are going to have cooling issues and want to use fans, then I suggest just turning the fans on early with a light timer and do not wait until the tank is already hot with a temp controller since it can be hard to cool down once you are behind. If you have to use a chiller, then a temp controller is totally good.

That InkBird should do the trick.

I visited your wonderful city a couple years ago. Wish I had more time there 4 days was not enough. It was the end of a very long trip.
